The Blessing Challenge has ended and it has been a blessing. This challenge was to challenge you to bless others for 4 weeks. My list included Jesus, Myself, a person that I dont get along with, and four others. At first I was doing everybody on my text and email list. Then I narrowed it down to just seven people. It was hard to choose my "four others". I have so many good friends that deserve to hear kind words everday. But I chose my four eventually. It was three women and one man. The one male friend came to look forward to my kind comments. I would send my compliment in the morning and one day I didnt do it till late afternoon. Well he called to remind me and asked where is his compliment. Now that the challenge is over. He's upset. Because the compliments would give him a daily boost. He's too funny. The other three ladies were good associates but now I think we are actually good friends now.
As for the person I didnt get along with.... It wasn't hard to choose who I was gonna pick because this is the only person that I routinely dont get along with. But I tried my best to find some sort of compliment. I am gonna be honest, I had very few nice things I could come up with; so I went straight to the word on this one. I didnt accomplish to come up with anything nice the majority of days on this one. Pray for me.
I want to thank all of you that joined in. This was a hard challenge because it deals with emotions and getting the focus off of yourself and taking the time to compliment someone else. Please share your experience these four weeks with complimenting others. Even if you didnt do the whole four weeks, let us know how it went.
