Accessorize With Love Golden Sand Baked Bronzer

Judging by the reviews I have stumbled across online, it is safe to say that the general consensus of the baked products by Accessorize have been positive. I bought one of their bronzers (even though I am not normally interested in bronzing products) because I thought Golden Sand would make an excellent highlighter. So far I have been loving it: the texture is excellent, the payoff is excellent, and each compact contains 12.5g of product. There are a lot of excellent highlighters available nowadays, but speaking as someone with large pores and oily skin, I am extremely fussy about what kinds of shimmer I use on my face. Even infamous highlighters like Christian Dior Shimmer Powder and Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter - both of which I like and would absolutely recommend - are a little bit on the sparkly side if I am being really picky. Golden Sand gives more of a peachy shimmery sheen to the skin - I can barely detect individual particles of shimmer even after vigorous blending. Golden Sand is a fantastic highlighter shade for medium to possibly darker skin tones, but it may be too peachy for those with pale complexions.

Price: £6/12.5g

Ingredients: Mica, Talc, Nylon 12, Parafinum Liquidum, Dimethicone, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77491/2/9, CI 77499, CI 77491/2/9

Lancome Summer 2010 Collection: Tropiques Minérale Bamboo Bronzer

Hello Divas!

I hope you are enjoying life! Remember be thankful for your blessings!

I have not been posting as frequently as I have because this mama/entrepreneur/diva has a lot of irons in the fire. Good things, but a lot! LOL!

But I had to take a minute to share with you Divas my new obsession...Lancome'sTropiques Minérale Bamboo Bronzer.  I love it when I fall in love with a product.  Isn't it just gorgeous?

I just love the artwork in the Bronzer. Bamboo trees and a golden pink sun! Love!

This Bronzer is the bizness!  It is oversized, which I love.  The mirror is huge and I have plenty of Bronzer to take me through the Summer.  This Bronzer contains gold, peach, orange and pink highlights.  It creates the perfect tropical glow.  Plus it looks awesome on brown skin.  I use it as a blush and as a Bronzer. It is also great for my sensitive skin because it is mineral based.  No need to worry about breakouts.

Lancome's Tropiques Minérale Bamboo Bronzer retails for $45...I know that is kind of steep, but you do get a ton of product! If you purchase it online between now and May 23rd you will get free shipping and two deluxe samples of Lancome's best sellers: Bi-Facil eye makeup remover and a Color Quad Eyeshadow.

Toodles!

Disclaimer:  Lancome sent me this product to try and although I absolutely love it, my opinion is based on my own personal experience and is true and not biased.

Hot Drugstore Find of the Week: Affordable Make-Up Brushes, Essence of Beauty

Hello Divas!

I hope your hump day is rocking and rolling. My hot drugstore find of the week is Essence of Beauty Make-Up Brushes. I have been using these make-up brushes for the past...um..lets see..8 years. Yes 8 years! They are fantastic! Why am I just writing about these fabulous brushes? Well I was perusing the MAC counter and inquired about the price of the 217 blending eyeshadow brush and the 252 large shader brush. I figured if all my favorite beauty bloggers and my own MAC make-up artist use these brushes, so should I. Well the 217 brush is $22.50 and the 252 brush is a whopping $29.00. Now MAC does make the bomb diggity brushes but that is a lot of money to spend on a brush. I know some of my readers simply can not afford it or just don't want to spend that much on an eyeshadow brush. So I thought why not hip you guys to my all time favorite inexpensive but high quality make-up brushes. Essence of Beauty Make-Up Brushes are made of high quality authentic hairs and fibers and work beautifully. I have the eye shadow blending brush, dome eyeshadow brush, lip brush, and stand-up face powder brush. My favorite is the stand-up face powder brush. It is a big fluffy brush and I use it to apply blush to the apples of my cheek and bronzer. It applies make-up perfectly. In addition, the eyeshadow blending brush blends great and the dome eyeshadow brush allows you to really pack eyeshadow on your lids. The lip brush is retractable which is always a plus. And of course you can purchase these brushes at your local CVS or here online. They retail for.....$4.99 a piece! Can you believe it??!! Quality and affordable, Fantastic!

Napoleon Perdis Luminizer Bronzer: My Review

Hello Divas!

I hope today is an awesome day! I am in loooove with Napoleon Perdis's Luminizer Bronzer Foundation Stick. Can I just say fantabulous?!! So I am in Sephora last Friday and all of the Napoleon Perdis Products are 50% off. Yes 50% off! Apparently Sephora is not carrying the line anymore. Of course I lost my mind. I asked the salesperson what were the must have products from Napoleon Perdis. The salesperson said definitely the Luminizer Bronzer. He then went on to tell me that this product looks great on everyone, but as far as he is concerned it is the BEST bronzer for brown skin. So of course I am intrigued. He put it on and ladies I promise you, I looked like a movie star. Seriously. He applied it at the top of my cheekbones, the middle of my forehead, on on my chin. I was just glowing glowing glowing. I did not have any foundation and I looked radiant. He also said that you can mix a little of this bronzer with your foundation or moisturizer for an all over glow. Plus I just love the texture of this bronzer. It is packaged as a foundation stick and it is silky smooth; so easy to apply. It is a deep shimmering bronze color and I love it! Ladies this is THE MUST HAVE bronzer for fall/winter. During these months we all lose our fabulous tans and get that dull look. This bronzer will have you glowing all winter long. I promise. And ladies RUN to your nearest Sephora or immediately go to Sephora.com to purchase this item and other Napoleon Perdis products. Currently, all Napoleon Perdis products are 75% off at Sephora!!! This bronzer is currently selling for $9.75. It originally sells for $40.00!
