Summer Scent Tip: Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Body Lotion

This humid 100 degree heat makes me think of creative ways to smell fabulous despite the sweat. I sweat a lot and I can't stand it. But I digress.  After a few days battling the heat, I realized my regular Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau de parfum was not holding up.  So instead of using the parfum, I decided to only use the body lotion of the scent.  The best move I have made in a long time.  The body lotion is a very intense version of the Ea de parfum and it lasts all day long.  It is also a great moisturizing lotion.  My skin stays hydrated and I smell like a high end french parfum shop.  I get so many compliments when I wear the body lotion.  The scent lingers and is not too overpowering.  So while I am sweating away in this unbelievable heat, my body is sweating Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle and I smell delicious!  LOL!

Poule de Luxe Vanilla Fruit Sorbet Solid Parfum

Recently I have become fascinated with solid parfums! They travel well, are compact, and so convenient to use. And because they are solid parfums, the scent is insanely intense. During Fashion Week, I attended a beauty blogger tweet-up and a representative from Crazylibellule and the Poppies Parfum Company put a cute tube of solid parfum around my neck. The packaging was crazy cute, but I did not think anything of it. Well once I returned home, I smelled the parfum and thought WOW this is nice! So I threw it in my purse for a "freshen up" moment. One day while at work, I whipped it out and rubbed some of the parfum on my wrist and my neck. Immediately, I was engulfed in this rich vanilla fruity scent! Yummy! Everyone in the office kept asking "what is that smell?!!" Seriously, people were flipping out over the scent. I promptly fell in love! The scent is Vanilla Fruit Sorbet and it contains rich notes of vanilla, raspberry, rose and musk. Delicious! Plus the parfum is paraben and sulfate free.

Crazylibellule and the Poppies Parfum Company sells several different scents in the same compact packaging. Although you only receive 1.7 oz of product, you only need to use a small amount to get a beautiful scent. I have been using mine for 5 weeks now and I still have plenty of product left. The parfums retail for $18 and you can purchase them at Sephora.

Lancome's Magnifique: Gorgeous Scent!

I hope your Monday is wonderful! It is soooo cold in Atlanta. But I like the change of season. I am currently in love with Lancome's Magnifique parfum. I guess you guys have noticed a theme here...I am loving Lancome right now. Fabulous! I received Magnifique as a sample with a gift with purchase set. Magnifique is classic but sultry. It is definitely one of those "signature scent" parfums. Magnifique is spicy and woodsy so it has a very sultry musk undertone. But it is also floral so it is feminine and pretty. I wore this scent this weekend at the wedding I attended and I received tons of compliments. My hubby LOVES it! LOL! So you know what I am doing today...purchasing a 1 fluid ounce limited edition bottle of Magnifique at Sephora for $45.00. Plus doesn't Anne Hathaway look absolutely stunning in the Ad campaign? Magnifique!
