It's Thymes for Valentine's!

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and whether you're single, taken or in-between, there's no reason why you shouldn't celebrate LOVE! It's all about taking care of yourself and sharing the love with your loved ones of course. I'm excited to kick-off my Valentine's Day Series with a fave brand of mine- Thymes. They offer some amazing scents and even though I have really sensitive skin (& nose) they are not overpowering at all. It's all about moderation as well and some of these scents are just too good to resist. Some can really put you in a good mood!

Winter blues can be so blah and make you feel down, so why not instantly energize yourself with a whiff of something fruity? Check out my Thymes Agave Nectar Collection review here.

Thyme's Kimono Rose fragrance collection is perfect for Valentine's Day with its sweet notes of clementine, rose, peony and jasmine florals. Luckily, they offer this scent in various products such as a hand lotion, body lotion (both of which I tried)..

The Thymes Kimono Rose scents are so floral and sweet. The rose, peony and jasmine combination is perfect for Valentine's Day to make your date fall head over heels for you. I usually don't go for floral scents but I am HOOKED on this!! The hand lotion absorbs quick so it's great to have right at your sink so you can moisturize your hands right after you wash. The Body Creme is fantastic to use after your shower to keep your skin smelling like sweet kimono rose. I definitely recommend this as a gift for yourself or for your girlfriends!

Damana Bath and Body Products.

Hello Divas!

Life is Beautiful! I hope you feel beautiful too!

I am a junkie for hotel bath and body samples.  I love the Bliss products in W hotels and the Bath and Body Works products in the Renaissance brand hotels.  On a recent business trip, I stayed at an InterContinenal Hotel and they had Damana Bath and Body products in the rooms.  I have never heard of the Damana brand and I am now obsessed with the products.  Damana products are enriched with herbal extracts and natural perfumes.  They are very spa like and do have a calming aromatherapy trait.  I particularly love the body lotion.  It is a light and non-greasy lotion that has a rich citrusy and flower scent.  It smells sooo good!  The body gel is also made from citrus plants and is very moisturizing and invigorating.  Plus I love the packaging.  Isn't very cute and unqiue?

Of course I attempted to find the products online to purchase.  But it seems that Damana products are only available at select hotel chains.  Bummer.  I do hope they open the market to retail consumers very soon.

Summer Scent Tip: Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Body Lotion

Hello Divas!

I hope you are having a Fantabulous Day!

This humid 100 degree heat makes me think of creative ways to smell fabulous despite the sweat. I sweat a lot and I can't stand it. But I digress.  After a few days battling the heat, I realized my regular Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau de parfum was not holding up.  So instead of using the parfum, I decided to only use the body lotion of the scent.  The best move I have made in a long time.  The body lotion is a very intense version of the Ea de parfum and it lasts all day long.  It is also a great moisturizing lotion.  My skin stays hydrated and I smell like a high end french parfum shop.  I get so many compliments when I wear the body lotion.  The scent lingers and is not too overpowering.  So while I am sweating away in this unbelievable heat, my body is sweating Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle and I smell delicious!  LOL!

Do you wear your favorite scent's body lotion instead of the parfum?  What body lotion scent do you love the most?

Kiehl's Creme de Corps Body Lotion

Hello Divas!

I hope your week is fantabulous and you are living the fabulous life!

Considering the size of my body lotion collection, I believe I have found the absolute perfect body lotion. Kiehl's Creme de Corps is, in my humble opinion, the best body lotion on the market. It is so rich and creamy. Believe me when I say this: a little goes a very long way. After one application, there is no need to re-apply. This lotion will keep your body soft, smooth and hydrated all day long. I have been using this lotion since I left NYC Fashion Week, and it has made a tremendous difference in my skin's texture. My skin is just smooth, smooth, smooth! This lotion is specially formulated for dry flaky skin. However, it is perfect for all skin types. It is especially great for the cold winter months! Some of the key ingredients in Creme de Corps are cocoa butter, sesame oil, and shea butter.

A 8.4 oz of Creme de Corps retails for $26. I know the price is a little steep for body lotion, but I still have 3/4 of the bottle remaining and I have been using it for over a month. It is worth every penny! You can purchase it online here or at any Kiehl's boutique.
