Physicians Formula New Drugstore Products Part 2- Shimmer Strips & Eyeliner Trio

If you missed my Physicians Formula - Happy Booster & Jumbo Lash Mascara Part 1, check it out here.

I checked out RiteAid recently and was psyched to see more NEW Physicians Formula products hit the shelves. There were the Talc-Free Mineral Wear products (perhaps this is replacing the OrganicsWear?) and the Shimmer Strips eyeshadows and eyeliners trio! I only had $15 in my pocket so I treated myself the eyeliners trio.. funny thing is I already have the same colors in a gel eyeliner-form, but I really wanted to try these anyway.

On top, are the Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Shadows & Liners palettes for Blue and Hazel eyes. The packaging looks new with a cute "Eye Candy" on the lower right hand corner but I don't see anything new about the actual colors. I don't have old shimmer strips eyeshadows since I already have tons of eye shadows.

On the bottom are the Enhance & Define Eyeliner Trios! There was only one left for the Brown Eyes, which I snatched right away, because I love purple! The others have the same matching pencil color for the same eye color for Blue & Green and a pink eyeliner for Hazel eyes. They all have the Black eyeliner and a neutral one too. For about $11-12, you get three eyeliners that are advertised to last for "24 hours," it's a nice deal. They glide pretty smoothly but I will test these out this week to see how long they actually last..

Physicians Formula New Drugstore Products Part 1- Happy Booster & Jumbo Lash Mascara

Physicians Formula is one of my favorite drugstore brands, especially their OrganicWear line. (However, it looks like they are discontinuing it or something because I don't see it on their website.) I was excited to see at my local drugstore some new products- their Happy Booster blush/bronzer/powder and Organic Wear Jumbo Lash mascara.

First, the Happy Booster palettes are perfect for upcoming Valentine's Day! The hearts are so cute and they are infused with plant extracts that are supposed to make you in a "Happy mood." I didn't try this but thought the concept was cute. The translucent shade is probably my favorite because it looks the most natural. The blush is rosy and the different color combos are great when blended together for a natural finish. The packaging still doesn't look that great and the brush looks scratchy like the OrganicWear powders. I prefer my super soft brushes from EcoTools. :)

I saw the Jumbo Lash mascaras and immediately picked one up. Why? Because it had the "TRY ME FREE" label and they work! I have already tried their OrganicWear mascara (Free after rebate too) when it first came out in Spring 2009, so I was excited to see this Jumbo Lash update- same formula (I hope) but larger wand!! See my review here on the old OrganicWear mascara.

If you missed my earlier post on my Drugstore Finds this January, see ALL the pictures here.

Don't miss Part 2 of my Physicians Formula new products finds... coming soon!

Drugstore Find: Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark-Circle Roller Review

Have you tried the Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Dark-Circle Roller? Whew, long name ! It's an eye care product & concealer all in one! I've been looking for a great product for a while that can moisturize my bags under my eyes as well as conceals it. I've been using my concealer- mineral makeup- for some time but haven't found anything moisturizing, except eye cream. This is the perfect combination. The roller really cools it and instantly I feel a difference. The one thing I don't like is that I can't keep rolling it around b/c the tint will keep coming out and I don't want it to look too cakey.. I may have to get the regular one (in the green bottle) too!

Tip: Do not wear this at night.. the caffeine will give you a jolt that will not be good in the morning.

New Drugstore Products in January

The past two weeks, I have been scouting nearby drugstores to see what new products they have. I discreetly took some pictures of their displays to share with you all. I am a drugstore junkie because I love to browse and look at what new goodies they have! Even if I don't get them all the time, it's nice to look. Also got a nice haul from the CVS semi-annual beauty sale, where a lot of products were 75% off! I was late in the game but I still scored goodies from one of my favorite brands, Sally Hansen Natural Beauty by Carmindy line. I got 3 eyeshadow trio palettes and 1 cream blush !!

Pics-heavy post .. check them all out, including Maybelline, Revlon, NYC Cosmetics and NYX!! :)

Drugstore Pictures of New Products

Hey readers! Sorry I have been a bit MIA this month- at least it feels like I have not been contributing as much as I would like to. I blame it on the bad weather. :) However, It doesn't mean I haven't been on the hunt to find good content for you guys! In fact, it has my been personal quest to visit drugstores more frequently to see what new products are out there.

Enjoy and let me know what you like!

Wet N' Wild- Their new Color Icon line includes (from top to bottom) trio eyeshadows,6 eyeshadow palettes in shimmer and matte shades, lipsticks, and nail polishes. (Not shown here are the single eyeshadows) All products range from about $1.99 to $4.99 at this store.

Piggy Paint! Cute, adorable nailpolishes in basic colors. It's something a tween would use, but these products do not contain any toxic chemicals and is water-based. This drugstore did not list the price, but I found online they cost about $9!! Quite expensive, especially if I can get OPI bottle for that amount.. Check out the Flower Collection OPI by Sephora for Spring. :)

bath and body works sandalwood fig
I know this is not a drugstore, but I couldn't help posting this! It's the new Bath & Body Works Sandalwood Fig products that I reviewed just a couple of weeks ago. Check out my exclusive sneak peek and review here.

Wet 'n Wild Beauty Benefits cosmetics.. Saw these mineralized products and couldn't resist. What do you think of these?

Yes to Carrots at Your Local Drugstores with Pictures

I am happy to see that my local Target and drugstore are now carrying new Yes to Carrots products! I happily took some pictures while I was there to document and show you how their displays look like, for your convenience to spot them the next time you go.

I first raved about my Yes to Carrots experience late last year. Read about my favorite YTC product, lip butters, here. I also sampled other goodies from Shecky's Girls Night Out, as they were one of the sponsors, and even more goodies from their Yes to Cucumbers brand which they had generously sent me.

At my drugstore- They finally sell the new Lip Tints and Lip Glosses! Love the display trays for these. Read my review here.
This is a bargain at your local Target. For only $4.99 you get three lip butters or lip tints! As you can see above, each lip butter/tint can cost about $4-5 dollars each. You can share with your other friends and introduce them to Yes to Carrots!
Target is also selling the shower set for only $4.99. It contains their shampoo, conditioner and something else..

JANE Be Pure® Aguaceuticals® cosmetics

I made a trip to a nearby Rite-Aid this morning and I was happy to see many drugstore brand cosmetics on sale. They were either buy one get one free, or buy one get half off. This deal included L'oreal HIP blushes and shadows, Jane cosmetics, and Maybelline cosmetics.

They always have a section with the new items which are distinctively placed on its own display. I am always looking to see what new products are out and I couldn't help but notice today- Jane's Be Pure® Aguaceuticals® line.

They didn't have everything here, only eyeshadows, tinted moisturizers, and the cheek blushes. It was clearly labeled that these products were organic, free of parabens, and all-natural.

I couldn't find ANY information on the website: www.janecosmetics.com, which is disappointing because this line reached stores in December 2008.

To see pictures of the other products..

Doesn't this mascara look so good for you?

Source: http://www.prnewswire.com/mnr/janecosmetics/35357/">

I got the gorgeous Aguashimmer eyeshadow palette in 03 Reef for only $6. What a deal for 4 gorgeous eyeshadow colors!

If only there were more information on the official website.. I could find out more details. Stay tuned as I check out other stores to see if they have the Jane Aquaceuticals cosmetics in stock.

Update 5/09:I have found more Jane Aguaceuticals cosmetics in stores, including cheek colors and tinted moisturizers but have not found the mascara and lip tints. The eye liners or shadow pots are really shimmery and look a bit weird. I have seen some where half the pot is missing (I think the water evaporated) or some where the color is melted to one side of the pot. I won't be getting those.. I'm still using the eyeshadow palette that I got, which is WONDERFUL, by the way.

Has anyone been able to find the mascara? I really want to try one made with olive oil! However, the next best alternative is the Physicians Formula Organic wear Mascara, read here to get one for free!

Update 6/09: Here are some more pictures from the same Rite-Aid store, but 6 months later. :) Thanks Rite-Aid!! As you can see these are the BlushStix and Bronzer palettes, and the eyeshadows in pots. They did have one mascara left, but I didn't purchase it because I could not anywhere in the packaging which country it was made in. Also, the cardboard packaging seemed a bit flimsy and not attractive at all.
