Review: Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer for Spring

On the Burt's Bees website, they selected their favorite items to use for this Spring. One of their items, including the Lip Shimmer in Peony- my new go-to lip product. Burt's Bees Natural Toothpaste

Looking for a new, natural toothpaste? Look no further because Burt's Bees recently came out with natural toothpastes in 3 formulas- Multicare, Whitening and Kids.

The Multicare and Whitening formulas come with either fluoride or fluoride-free. I'm particularly excited about the Kids formula myself because it comes in an Orange-Wow with Fluoride and Berry Bee without Fluoride. These natural and tasty flavors will make kids excited to brush their teeth! Yay! I will personally choose the fluoride ones because it will protect my teeth against cavities.

Secret Ingredient? Cranberry Extract- This is the key ingredient used in the formulas because cranberries have a nutrient called Proanthocyanidins or PACs. Studies have shown PACs does not let "oral bacterial stick to the surface of teeth, thereby helping prevent plaque formation before it starts." Genius!

Burt's Bees Grab bag

For Christmas, I got a special gift- a Burt's Bees Grab bag! It's like many, many gifts packaged into one! It has about 25 different products from their new collection that you can sample and try. Most of them did not disappoint. There were some that I would have been fine if they didn't add in there, but most of the products I have never tried.

Hot Drugstore Find of the Week: Burt Bee's Radiance Facial Cleanser

By now, you Divas know how much I love a good facial wash. I especially love a facial wash that has natural or organic ingredients. I have super sensitive skin, so I have to be very careful about what I use on my face.

I have been using Burt's Bees Radiance Facial Cleanser for the past couple of weeks and I love it! This cleanser is 99% all natural and contains safflower, jojoba oil, bilberry, orange and lemon extract, and royal jelly. Yes royal jelly. Apparently royal jelly enhances your skin’s natural radiance. Royal Jelly is made from nectar, pollen, flower parts, vitamins, minerals, and bee hormones. Nice. All I know is that this product feels so soothing on my skin. It is creamy yet very light. It thoroughly cleans my face, but leaves it very soft and moisturized. Also it smells fantastic!

Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions Review

At the end of August, I started using products from the Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions line. I was in need of a new cleanser because I did not feel like what I was using really cleaned my oily skin, especially in the hot, humid weather. I also had some breakouts and needed to get rid of them!

The Burt's Bees Natural Acne products contain the Purifying Gel Cleanser, Targeted Spot Treatment (both of which I purchased), a Pore Refining Scrub and a Daily Moisturizing Lotion.

Purifying Gel Cleanser- This clear, lightly yellow cleanser really did its job. It removed all the dirt, oil and grime on my face, leaving it clean and refreshed. It was a bit more liquid-y than I thought it would be, but it actually made it easier to massage into my face. It also has a light scent that is not overpowering. A small dime size is enough to lather on your face, so I will be using this 5 oz. bottle for another 4-5 months. Great deal for its affordable price of only $10!

Targeted Spot Treatment- I have found this treatment to reduce the size of stubborn acne, so it works. It takes some though, so don't expect miracles overnight. With continued use, I have seen my skin clearing up with the combined usage of the gel cleanser. The spot treatment's packaging makes it a bit hard to figure out how to use. I basically cover the top with my finger and turn it upside down. Then, I quickly pat the liquid onto troubled spots. It has a strong smell, so I advise to use this at night time only.

Hot Drugstore Find of the Week!: Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme

How is your Wednesday going? I hope fantabulous! Okay I have discovered another hand cream that I LOVE! Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme is a great drugstore brand find! My friend Chamele let me use her Burt's Bees Hand Repair Creme and I was pretty impressed. So this weekend, I went to CVS to find it. However, while at CVS, I realized that Burt's Bees had several hand cremes or salves to choose from. I chose the Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme because of the packaging (it comes in a cute little jar) and the smell. It smells just like sweet almonds! Yummy! This hand creme is sooooo hydrating. You only need a finger tip size amount to completely moisturize your hands. The creme is thick and creamy. And of course it is all natural. The ingredients include sweet almond oil, beeswax, kaolin, grapefruit extract and aloe juice. After one application of this hand creme, my hands are chapped free all day! I hope you are having a wonderful day! So so so cold this morning! I need homemade banana nut bread and a big cup of tea! My hot drugstore find of the week is Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm. This lip balm is a must for cold winter months. If I do not use this lip balm everyday during the winter months, my lips are dry and cracked. Ugh! Burt's Bees Beeswax lip balm contains lanolin, coconut oil and sunflower oil. So it is very moisturizing. The beeswax seals in hydration so your lips stay moist all day long.
