Holiday Series #2: One Bath and Body - Lip Butter Balms

Holiday Series #2- Looking for stocking stuffers?
Gift all your friends on your list this year this affordable and scent-worthy lip balm from One Bath and Body. Their collection includes 6 different flavors including the Cherry Pie & Honey Cream balms that I tried. They're moisturizing with shea butters and they smells great. Its moisturizing formula contains cocoa and shea butter and various oils. These are widely available at your local Target store and oh, did I mention that these are only $3? Its a great deal and cones in a cute tin. Again like the shampoo and conditioner bars this also uses recycled packaging.

The Cherry Pie lip butter balm is my favorite- it smells like a delicious pie is baking and ready in your oven!

Made with recycled packaging, I thought I would open it up to see what was holding the lip tin in place. Inside- was a cardboard cutout with images of M&M frosted cupcakes. I thought it was a bit strange but it looks like they really recycle their goods!
Give this eco-friendly gift to your pals this holiday!

Tammy Fender Lip Guardian

Depending on where you are, winter's upon us and for some, it's really warm. Wherever you are, everyone needs moisturized lips and why not nourish and protect your lips from the heat or wind with the Tammy Fender Lip Guardian? It's formulated with lavender cacao with organic rose hip seed oil. (Have you tried the Tammy Fender Lavender Body Oil?)

It's packaged in a regular lip balm tube like the original chapstick, but instead of the balm being clear, it's a dark brownish green. The main ingredient is olive oil, so it's no wonder! When I first tried it, the application was not smooth (maybe it was my chapped lips?) but after a while it got better. (I guess I'm used to a gloss that applies easily.) However, the results? Moisturized lips without any flakes! I felt like the formula sank in and worked its magic, rather than sitting on my lips and doing pretty nothings, if you know what I mean.

If you're looking for a luxe lip product that works, then you should try this! Why luxe? B/c it costs $16.50 per tube!

Pur~lisse Pur~lip Comfort Daily Lip Nourisher

Hello Divas!

I hope your weekend was fabulous!  I got some much needed sleep. Yeah!

I have fallen in love with a product I have been using for months.  From my posts, I think you Divas have figured out that I love lip balms.  I love my lips to feel smooth, soft, and chap free.  So I keep a tube of lip balm handy.

As part of my Beauty Fix subscription, I received a full size tube of Pur~lisse Pur~lip daily lip nourisher.  I have been using the nourisher during the day and before I go to bed and my lips have done a 180!  This nourisher has kept my lips baby skin soft for months.  Pur~lisse Pur~lip comfort is petroleum free and contains Mango Butter, Shea Butter, Rice Bran Oil, Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E lavish moisture.  I can attest that these ingredients work perfectly together to produce perfectly soft lips.

My Beauty Fix subscription introduced me to the Pur~lisse line.  As stated on their website, "Pur~lisse is French for pure and smooth, pūr~lisse allows time-tested Chinese beauty rituals to embrace today’s French skin know-how for an inspirational marriage of nature and science."  That sounds pretty fantastic.  I have not used any of their other skincare products, but I think I may give them a try.

Pur~lisse Pur~lip daily lip nourisher retails for $22...I know steep but worth it.  You can purchase it online here or become a Beauty Fix member and receive a tube as part of your subscription.

It is called "My Favorite Lip Balm" and it contains Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, and Wheat Germ Oil. The balm glides on super smooth and it has a nice Sweet Almond smell. The shine is super insane and it looks awesome with my MAC Chesnut lip pencil.  This balm has been a life saver during this cold snap.  My lips stay moist and moisturized all day.

Hot Drugstore Find of the Week: Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm

Hello Divas!

I hope you are having a wonderful day! So so so cold this morning! I need homemade banana nut bread and a big cup of tea! My hot drugstore find of the week is Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm. This lip balm is a must for cold winter months. If I do not use this lip balm everyday during the winter months, my lips are dry and cracked. Ugh! Burt's Bees Beeswax lip balm contains lanolin, coconut oil and sunflower oil. So it is very moisturizing. The beeswax seals in hydration so your lips stay moist all day long. Lastly, the lip balm contains peppermint oil so it gives your lips a little refreshing tingle and it smells nice! And for those of us who love natural or organic products, this balm is 95% all natural. I love this balm! You can purchase Burt's Bees Beeswax lip balm from any CVS for only $3.00.
