Holiday Series #6: Carol's Daughter Feeling Nice Hair Kit

• Tui Leave-In Conditioner: This flower-infused formula weightlessly conditions and hydrates hair and scalp, while repairing damaged, brittle locks. I use this in the morning to give my hair that extra oomph. I also use it for styling but a few sprays is all I need.

Carol's Daughter at Sephora

Back in September, Carol's Daughter held a special modeling contest at their Harlem store in NYC to search for the face of their new Hair Milk campaign. I've heard so many great things about this brand. (Read more reviews here.) I even heard the founder, Lisa, speak at an event a few years ago to talk about how she started experimenting with her fragrances in her own home in Brooklyn and sold it to friends and family. Talk about a true entrepreneur!

Now, the brand Carol's Daughter is sold in Sephora stores nationwide and is such a success. Although I have never tried their haircare products, I am fan of their body butters. They make great natural body lotions with cocoa and shea butter- a great moisturizer especially in the winter time.

Carol's Daughter Coconut & Rose Sea Salt Scrub!

I hope your day is blessed! Remember to focus on the good things and not the negative.  It will surely brighten your day!

Carol's Daughter body scrubs are the bomb diggity! And I sincerely mean that.  They are made with sea salt and other all natural ingredients that will have your skin moisturized, glowing, and smelling yummy.  Around the holidays, I purchased an Almond Cookie Fragrance and the cashier gave me a small bottle of the Coconut & Rose Sea Salt Scrub.  I didn't officially break it out until my beach vacation because of course I needed to exfoliate so I could achieve a smooth pretty tan.  And I am now officially hooked!  First of all the smell is just simply intoxicating.  The coconut and rose together is heavenly.  The smell quickly fills up my shower and bathroom and it is so aromatherapeutic!  The sea salt is very coarse and exfoliates skin perfectly.  You do not have to scrub as hard to remove the dead skin.  A gentle massaging motion is all you need.  Also the body scrubs contain jojoba, avocado and wheat germ oil. These ingredients make your skin so soft and smooth, you will be amazed.

I need another jar of the Coconut & Rose Sea Salt Body Scrub but it is not available on the website.  I think Carol's Daughter was testing the product and it may not officially be on the market.  But I hope it makes a debut soon.  However, my favorite Carol's Daughter fragrance, Almond Cookie, comes in a sea salt body scrub and I can't wait to try it.

Interview with Lisa Price, Founder of Carol's Daughter!

As promised, I finally was able to retrieve the interview I did with Lisa Price of Carol's Daughter. Lisa was in Atlanta for the grand opening of the new Carol's Daughter store in Lenox Square Mall. The store is simply fab! Lisa shared with Luxetips! her fav Carol's Daughter product; Carol's Daughter must have products; the fabulousness of the Back Room; and her secrets to success.

During the interview, I kept referring to the new store as a "flagship store". There can only be one flagship store....I had a duh moment! LOL! I have to laugh at myself sometimes! Enjoy!

I am back! Where was I? Lost without my beloved MAC Ibook G4. I know its time to get a new one, but I just can't part with it just yet. My power cord went kaput and I have been without a computer for 4 days! So I am so sorry for the delayed posts, but I will certainly make it up to you guys! As soon as I figure out how to download the video, I will post the interview asap. I did purchase the Almond Cookie Fragrance and it is insane! Love! It is my new signature scent! Yummy!

Carol's Daughter Hair Milk: Gorgeous Hair!

I hope your day is beautiful! It is warming up a bit here in Atlanta. Yes! I am currently loving Carol's Daughter Hair Milk. Now I don't use it on my hair yet. But I have been using it on luxe baby's hair and her hair is GORGEOUS! Carol Daughter's Hair Milk is phenemenal. Most importantly, it is all natural. This is all important when using it on luxe baby. It contains lemongrass, Sweet Almond Oil, Vitamins C and E, and Lily of the Valley for an awesome fragrance. And Divas it smells so good! I just can't stop smelling luxe baby's hair! And it produces the shiniest and cutest curls ever! I mean luxe baby has the cutest curly afro! Gorgeous! In addition, you only need a small palm size amount of the product to achieve soft shiny curls. To be honest, I really don't know what took me so long to try it! Now I am hooked.
