Evian Facial Spray: Refreshingly cool.

I love a product that wakes me up, cools me down, and keeps me refreshed.  Evian facial spray is this product.  I have the 1.7 oz sized bottle and it is perfect for traveling and easily fits in any size purse.  I started using this product last summer at the beach.  It instantly cooled me down while also making me feel awake and refreshed.  I used it on myself and the luxe kids.  They thought it was the coolest thing ever!

Evian facial spray contains the mineral properties of the original Evian water.  It also has a neutral PH.  It is great for all skin types and works best when it is used several times a day.   I still use it in the Winter months.  While it is cooling and refreshing it also moisturizes the skin.  Sometimes I spray it over my make-up to create a soft dewey look.  Creating a dewey look in the Winter months is a hard feat, but Evian facial spray make it easy.

Boscia Facial Toner: Cleansing and Moisturizing

If you have a dream or a goal, don't ever give up.  Despite all circumstances, ANYTHING is possible.

A few months ago, I was given the opportunity to try some Boscia facial products.  Boscia is a Japanese based skin care line that features botanically-based and preservative-free skincare products.  Overall, I have been very pleased with the brand.  However, I have been particularly pleased with the skin toner.

The toner comes in a spray bottle and when I spray it on my face it is instantly refreshing and soothing.  I usually let it sit on my face for about 30 seconds before removing it with a cotton pad.  The toner does lift excess dirt and make-up from my face.  But unlike other toners that leave your face feeling dry and stripped of natural moisture, this toner leaves my face soft and smooth.  It is genius!

Hot Drugstore Find of the Week: Sea Breeze Astringent

I hope all is well in your world!  Life has been pretty good to me lately and I am so thankful to God.


Today I am featuring an oldie but goodie drugstore brand astringent, Sea Breeze.  I recently purchased Sea Breeze because when I went to my local CVS to purchase my staple Clean and Clear Astringent for Sensitive Skin, they were out.  So I grabbed Sea Breeze Astringent for Sensitive Skin and thought it should be a good substitute.

Now I have not used Sea Breeze since high school and I was not sure how it was going to affect my skin.  But I am happy to report that it has been great to my skin.  You know what I love the most about Sea Breeze?  I love that it really digs deep and gets all of the left over dirt and guck out of my pores. Yes, Sea Breeze cleans my face at least 50% better than my staple Clean and Clear Astringent.  I am always shocked by how much dirt is on the cotton pad after using Sea Breeze.   I never removed that much residue using Clean and Clear. Wow!  Plus it is tingly and refreshing and it has a smell that wakes you up in the morning.  Very fresh!  Lastly, it does not dry out my skin. It leaves it clean but soft. This Astringent is a winner in my book.

Hot Drugstore Find of the Week: Clean & Clear Make-Up Dissolving Foaming Cleanser

I hope you have a fantastic hump day!

I am always changing facial cleansers. Why? Well sometimes I feel my skin becomes immune to a cleanser if I use it for an extended period of time. Other times, I may be experiencing problems with my skin and need a cleanser that addresses that problem. Most likely, I just want to try something new! LOL!

A month ago my girl, Yummy411, wrote a wonderful blog post about Clean & Clear's Make-Up Dissolving Foaming Cleanser and I had to try it. I obsessively use Clean & Clear's Toner for Sensitive Skin. In my opinion, it is the best bargain Toner on the market. I am happy to report the Make-Up Dissolving Foaming Cleanser is a gem too! I have been using this cleanser for a while now and I am hooked! What I love about this cleanser is that you only need 2 pumps to achieve a great lather. So I know it will last a while. In addition, it cleans very thoroughly yet is very gentle and does not dry out your face! Plus as advertised, it removes make-up like a pro! After washing my face all traces of my make-up is gone! This cleanser is a great drugstore buy! You can purchase this cleanser from CVS and it retails for $6.99.

Kerstin Florian Spa Face Aromatherapy Neroli Water

I hope your Monday is just fabulous!

I know I say this a lot, but Divas I have discovered the most divine product! Kerstin Florian Aromatherapy Neroli Water is the PERFECT product for Summer! Why? Because this Bitter Orange Blossom infused water hydrates and refreshes your skin while also leaving a very beautiful floral citrusy scent. I had the opportunity to put this product to the test this weekend during the Hotlanta "heat wave." First the product comes in a 4 oz size spray bottle that is the perfect size to slip in your bag. The website states that this product can be used as a toner after cleansing your face, a body spray after a shower, or for hydration during a long flight. However, I used it to hydrate and freshen up while out in the Georgia sun! As I was baking in the sun and sweating, I would whip out this spray and mist my face and body and it instantly cooled me down. Plus the scent is absolutely heavenly. Very light and fresh...not heavy at all. The spray has a very invigorating effect! Even the hubby liked the product. He has awful allergies in the summer and he did not complain about the scent or sneeze. LOL! He loved it! Divas this is a MUST HAVE product this Summer. Alternative Astringent: Listerine

I hope your are having a beautiful Monday! It has been raining for 72 hours in Atlanta, but rain is good. We need it! Well ladies it is official, we are in a recession. But a recession should not stop us from maintaining our beauty routine. There are tons of products that we use on a daily basis that can double as a beauty product or remedy. What a way to save money! One such product is Listerine. Yes Listerine. Years ago, I read that a Supermodel used Listerine as an Astringent. She said it thoroughly removed any excess make-up and dirt and it did not dry out her skin. Well being the true beauty junkie that I am, I had to try it. Plus back then, I was a broke law student, so it was ALL GOOD! So I purchased the original Listerine (not the flavored variety) and after cleansing my face, used it as a toner. The Listerine removed tons of dirt and make-up and it left my face feeling refreshed and tingly! Plus it does not dry out my skin! In my opinion, Listerine is the best mouthwash and an awesome astringent! Boy I love a two for one deal! Listerine retails for $5.29 for a 16.7 fluid ounce bottle. You can purchase it at CVS!
