Hot Drugstore Find of the Week: Maybelline's ColorSensational Lipgloss in Born With It

I hope you are having a beautiful week!  It snowed ...again in Atlanta.  I don't know how I feel about that, but the luxe kids love it!

If you read my Monday post, you will remember I was able to pick up a lip gloss and lipstick from Maybelline's ColorSensational Line for only $5 each.  Well I AM IN LOVE with the ColorSensational lip gloss.  I chose a pretty pink color called Born With It and it is simply gorgeous on my lips.  Check it out!

This lip gloss is shiny but not sticky.  It has a very creamy texture to it.  It also has a wonderful bubble gum scent!  More importantly, this pink color is great for brown skin.  However, this color is so versatile, it will look Amazing on any skin tone. Fabulous!

Maybelline's ColorSensational Lip glosses come in a beautiful range of colors and they are super affordable. Gotta love it!   You can purchase them at CVS or Wal-Mart.

Fun Fridays! CVS Sales and More!

Hello Divas!

I hope your week has been fantastic!  It is cold again in Atlanta, in the 20s!! Whoo!

Well it is Fun Fridays and time to talk about things that are fun....like shopping! LOL!

My favorite drugstore, CVS, is having some great sales on Make-Up.  All Rimmel Cosmetics are buy one get one 50% off.  Select Loreal Products are $5 with a CVS card.  Revlon has a sale on its Photo Ready Foundation.  This foundation is all the rage and I can't wait to try it out! It is only $12 with a CVS card. 

Although I have tons of makeup, I feel like I need new make-up.  You have to keep it new and fresh!  Currently I am having a pink obsession and I want the perfect pink lip gloss or lip stick.  Pink just makes me think of Spring and Sundresses! I am going to check out the colors below this weekend.

Lancome Bronze Heat.  A bronzy-pink color. Love it!

Mac Cosmetics Viva Glam GaGa. A true pink! Love the packaging!

Chanel's Rouge Coco Lipstick in Mademoiselle.  A dark luxurious pink!

I am trying all 3 and will get one or maybe two. We will see. Which one you think would look best on me?  I have an idea, but I will try them first!

12 Days of Luxetips Before Christmas! Day 7: Gorgeous But Functional Holiday Attire

Hello Divas!

I know, I know. I am late delivering Day 6 and Day 7 of 12 Days of Luxetips Before Christmas. I was caught up shopping for the luxe kids. I am exhausted!

Days 1-6 focused on beauty and pampering yourself before Christmas Day. Christmas can be stressful, but if you take care of yourself first, you can just relax and enjoy the day.

Cute but comfortable holiday attire is a must during your holiday dinners and parties. Personally, I like a chunky sweater and leggings for casual family dinners and a baby doll or shift dress during holiday parties. The key is to make sure your clothes move with you and allow room for a stuffed tummy. You don't want your full stomach poking out in your holiday pictures. LOL! Here are few pieces I love for Christmas 09!

This Embroidered Dress from Forever 21 is cute and roomy!

I love this Abstract Art shift dress. It is mini but roomy and you can pair it with black or any other patterned tights!

A chunky winter white sweater is always a hit! I will have this with Leggings or Skinny Jeans please.

Luxe vs. Less: Is expensive better?

I hope your Sunday morning started off nice and calm. When I read this article, I was too excited! The fab people at Total Beauty did a comparison of skincare items in the luxe (more expensive) category and the less (drugstore brand) category. After reading this article, you will know if you really do need to spend your hard earned dollars on that Clarisonic, which they do highly recommend! I am getting mine soon!

Luxe-Atlanta Event!

I hope all is well! Usually this is the Hot Drugstore of the Week post, but I am currently at the Library. The MAC is in the shop and I am winging it! But I wanted to hip my beautiful Atlanta Divas to a fun event that is taking place tomorrow at Luxe-Atlanta. Tomorrow, June 11 from 7pm-9pm, Luxe-Atlanta is hosting a "Feed the Models, Save the World" event that will highlight eating disorders and unhealthy weight in the Modeling Industry. Of course, the event will be fun and for a great cause. There will be shopping, food, and drinks! What is not to love? LOL! Luxe-Atlanta will sell t-shirts at the event for $25. Forty percent of the proceeds from these t-shirts will go to EDIN, which is the non-profit organization supporting this worthy cause. Miss Georgia is also co-hosting!
